In Fayette and Coweta counties, the wide range of wonderful restaurants makes it seem like the world is outside your doorstep. You can find everything from gourmet continental cuisine to down-home Southern cooking as world-class chefs and caterers serve up delicious dishes. There are also bakeries, lounges and coffee shops throughout the area so you always find plenty to indulge yourself.

Fine Dining

City Café & Bakery, located in historic Fayetteville, boasts the area’s only authentic German bakery; it’s filled with delights like apple strudel, Black Forest cake and petits fore. The lunch and dinner entrees, such as weiner schnitzel, bratwurst and classic prime rib, are expertly prepared and served with a smile.

Georgia Shrimp Company brings together food and jazz in a scintillating mix. The menu features succulent fresh fish accented with deliciously flavored sauces—but there’s much more to choose from, including chicken, beef, pork and lamb dishes, as well as a superb wine list. Throughout the week, local jazz artisans take to the stage and enchant the audience.

At Pascal’s Bistro & Pasta Bar, head chef and owner Pascal was trained in Bordeaux, France and uses his skill and creativity to bring a symphony of flavors together in his menu. The very popular Pasta Bar has enjoyed great success. With 24 fresh ingredients to choose from, diners create their own dish by selecting only their favorites. In Senoia, Founders Restaurant brings a premier menu and atmosphere to the growing town’s Main Street.

Mediterranean

Kabab Grill in Peachtree City has some of the best humus in the area—along with falafel, lamb, Greek salad and other Mediterranean specialties. Don’t forget to top off your meal with baklava and Turkish coffee.

American

If you’re in the mood for some good home-style cooking, no problem. Broadway Diner in Fayetteville serves up delicious food with a smile. You can get everything from hot subs and wraps to steaks, chops and ribs. They also have Greek dishes and Italian specialties, seafood, delectable desserts, burgers and breakfast.

Many of the popular chain restaurants are here, from Waffle House and Chili’s to McDonald’s and Subway. But there are some others you’ll want to try, such as TJ’s Bistro in Peachtree City, 5 Guys in Peachtree City and Newnan, Ruby Tuesday in Peachtree City, Fayetteville and Newnan, Ted’s Montana Grill in Peachtree City, Appleby’s in Fayetteville and Newnan, Golden’s on the Square in Newnan  and STO in Sharpsburg.

Southern & Barbecue

True Southern cooking is right at hand. In Peachtree City, there’s Café Pig, while Fayetteville has Melear’s Barbecue. Sprayberry’s Barbecue boasts two Newnan locations and Redneck Gourmet is found in Newnan and Senoia. Big Chic Fried Chicken in Senoia is another favorite.

Pastries & Drinks

Drop in at Daisy Bakery for the freshest bagels and pastries in town. Their bagel/coffee special is a morning must, but it’s hard to pass up the cookies, pies, cakes and other treats. If you do want a healthy indulgence, Daisy offer smoothies—and you choose the ingredients.

Martinis Bar & Restaurant brings a touch of sophistication nightlife. Tasty menu items are highlighted by the wide selection of specialty martinis. Conveniently located in Peachtree City’s Westpark Walk, Martinis lets you stay close to home when you want a stylish ‘night out on the town.’

Sports Bars

Want to find a relaxed atmosphere to have a casual meal and watch the game? We have many spots that fit the bill. Mike & C’s, with locations in Peachtree City and Fayetteville, offers a family-friendly atmosphere and great food. Taco Mac, in Peachtree City and Newnan, has 41 TV’s, 100 different beers on tap and over 300 types of bottled beer. Maguire’s in Senoia has pub classics and live entertainment with traditional Irish cuisine.
