Mike's
Bites

Meet Mike. Local businessman, sales rep, amateur foodie, and pickleball player.

I’ve been fortunate to be part of our amazing community for over 25 years. As the owner of TCBY (The Country’s Best Yogurt) my family was blessed to partner with so many local organizations, schools and business for 10 years. Having owned a “restaurant light” business, I hold the highest respect for those who successfully operate a full serve restaurant and I’m excited to be able to highlight them in MIKE’S BITES.

Singh’s Café Indian Cuisine

Founded in 1986, Georgia Shrimp is one of the oldest continuously owned and operated restaurants in Peachtree City.  Celebrating 40 years in business says a lot in itself, given the challenges of operating a restaurant, but the secret to their success is commitment to family, community and consistency in providing the best food and service to every customer.

You have to experience their NEW wallet friendly Happy Hour, 3-6 PM every day at Murph’s Bar! Featuring Fried Oysters, Grilled or Fried Shrimp (of course!), Parmesan Truffled Fries, and much more. There are drink specials priced to make everyone happy as well.

One interesting take-away from my time with owner, Ant Murphy, is that Georgia Shrimp Co. is not just a restaurant to celebrate and share special occasions, but a destination to relax, slow down and get pampered with an amazing dining experience. Couples love“sharable mains”, like Chef Baur inspired, Bigg City’s Spicy Pasta, made with the freshest ingredients and large portions.

The selection of seafood, delivered fresh six days a week, includes mahi-mahi, lobster, scallops, salmon and more you won’t find anywhere else.  Consider trying one of several offerings that feature PERi-PERi spice, known as African Bird’s Eye Chilli, for an authentic international flavor experience.
